H-Rail Configurations
Description

This system for fall protection and suspension work relies on a rigid H-Rail anchor line with a sliding unit. It may be installed overhead, or on walls or floors to create horizontal, curved or straight anchor lines. The H-Rail may be fixed to timber, concrete or steel substrates with fixing systems that determine the distance of the H-Rail from the substrate and are specific to the substrate and environmental conditions.

Scope of Use
  • H-Rail configurations may be fixed overhead, to walls, to floors
  • Up to 4 persons per span
  • Spacing of up to 6m between supports
  • Can be installed for horizontal, curved, or straight anchor lines
  • Timber, concrete, or steel substrates
  • Fixing options can be suited specific substrate and environmental conditions
  • Can be supported on a tower to provide additional distance from the building to help provide optimal working space and to avoid obstacles
Limitations on Use
  • Must be installed and maintained in accordance with Rothoblaas technical literature
Statement of Building Code Compliance

When installed in building work, Rothoblaas fall protection systems will comply with or contribute to compliance with the following building code clauses:

  • B1 (Structure). B1.3.1, B1.3.2 B1.3.3 (a, b, c, e, f, h, j, m, q).
  • B2 (Durability). B2.3.1(b), B2.3.2(b).
  • F2 (Hazardous Building Materials). F2.3.1.
  • F4 (Safety from Falling). F4.3.1.

Other Performance Attributes

All Rothoblaas Fall Protection systems conform with AS/NZS 1891:2009 which is cited in D1/AS1 through AS/NZS 1657:2013, and are manufactured from AISI 304 or AISI 316 stainless steel unless otherwise stated.
