Description

Resene Uracryl GraffitiShield is a waterborne two pack clear anti-graffiti coating for a variety of substrates that develops early resistance to tagging with spray paint. Graffiti can be cleaned from a substrate protected with Resene Uracryl GraffitiShield using Resene Graffiti Cleaner.

Key Features

Colour: Gloss and semi-gloss clear
Spray paint graffiti can be removed from a substrate protected with Resene Uracryl GraffitiShield after 48 hours cure using Resene Graffiti Cleaner.
Enables use of high performance urethanes when spray application is difficult or undesirable.
Self-priming on cementitious and fibre cement panels (see Application information on Data Sheet).
Can be used as a graffiti clear for 100% acrylic based paints.

Scope of Use

For surfaces prone to graffiti attack.

Limitations on Use

Do not apply at temperatures below 10°C or above a relative humidity of 85%, or when it is liable to drop below 10°C or rise above a relative humidity of 85% during the drying/curing period.
In early stages of curing, film may be susceptible to mechanical damage.
Not suitable as a graffiti clear for exterior steel, timbers or as an anti-graffiti clear over epoxy, alkyd or chlorinated rubber based paints subject to exterior exposure.
To prevent ghosting when removing marker pen, the applied coating must have cured for a minimum of four weeks.
Not recommended as a clear waterproofing system for concrete block and honed concrete block construction.
