Wind uplift and seismic movement:

• Wind uplift has not generally been an issue, however the question is often asked. Marshall are currently working with their German supplier on a solution for any situations which may have wind uplift issues
• EVO, EVO Slim and EVO light sub-structure systems can be assembled to allow for seismic movement/expansion (e.g. fix/ float 2 x edges) however no testing has yet been done

The ProFoot Adjustable deck pedestal system has been available in the New Zealand market for approximately 4 years and has been installed in several projects/ project types throughout various locations in New Zealand:

• Coastal applications including projects in Raglan, Mt. Maunganui, Omokoroa, and Te Puke
• Numerous single-dwelling residential applications

The German system has been available internationally a lot longer and has been used in international locations such as Dubai.
