Mapeplan TPO membrane has been appraised with the following scope:

• E2AS1 — acceptable solution
• Substrates of plywood, strand sarking (roof only) and suspended concrete slab
• Minimum roof falls of 1:30, concrete roofs 1:60, decks 1:40
• Deck size limited to 40m²
• NZS 3604, up to and including Extra High
• Roofs as decks or balconies need to be protected by a pedestal floating system

Design requirements:

• Minimum roof falls of 1:30, concrete roofs 1:60, decks 1:40
• Deck size limited to 40m²
• Roofs as decks or balcony's need to be protected by a pedestal floating system

Installation requirements:

• Installation must be completed by a MBP (NZ) ltd approved applicator
• Installation quality is the sole responsibility of the MBP (NZ) ltd approved applicator

This product will, if employed in accordance with the supplier's installation and maintenance requirements, assist with meeting the following provisions of the NZBC:

• Clause B2 Durability: Performance B2.3.1(b)
• Clause E2 External Moisture: Performance E2.3.1, E2.3.2, E2.3.6
• Clause F2 Hazardous Building Materials: Performance F2.3.1

• Member of New Zealand Green Building Council

• ISO 9001 (Quality Management)

Warranty and Maintenance

Maintenance requirements:

• Care and Maintenance is the full responsibility of the building owner
• A care and Maintenance document will be provided with all durability warranty applications, and forms part of the warranty requirements
• Only an approved MBP (NZ) ltd applicator may perform additional work or maintenance to the property

Warranty:

• 20 year durability warranty for roofing and decking
