Description

Mapei Keraquick Maxi S1 is a high-performance, deformable and rapid setting cement-based adhesive used for the installation of ceramic and porcelain tile and moisture stable natural stone for both internal and external substrates of concrete and cement board and internal substrates with plasterboard.

When mixed with Latex Plus additive, Keraquick Maxi S1 becomes a highly deformable adhesive with the classification of C2FTS2 and can be used on substrates of concrete and cement board for floors and walls externally with exposure to freeze thaw

Scope of Use

Keraquick Maxi S1 can be used for the installation of ceramic and porcelain tile and moisture stable natural stone to concrete and cement board substrates for both internal and external floors and walls and plasterboard walls in internal applications
Can be used in residential and commercial applications
Can be used to install tiles over all Mapei liquid applied waterproofing membranes in internal wet areas
Can be used over Mapelastic Smart two-component cement-based membrane for external use
Can be used for the installation of tiles in full immersion applications such as swimming pools and ponds

Limitations on Use

Do not use for areas subjected to high freeze/thaw or high sun factors — In these situations Keraquick Maxi S1 should be mixed 100% with Latex Plus additive to achieve a classification of C2TFS2 highly deformable fast-setting adhesive
Do not use Keraquick Maxi S1 for the installation of moisture sensitive stone — In this situation use Kerapoxy adhesive
Do not use Keraquick Maxi S1 for installations subjected to temperatures less than 5°C or more than 30°C
