Solarzip® is a vertical outdoor blind or awning that shelters large spans from wind and sun, while retaining the view and access to natural light. A special high-temperature welded side zip allows the fabric to be encapsulated within the powder coated aluminium side tracks. Patented inserts act as movement absorbers, preventing the fabric from tearing with the tracks. Solarzip® awnings can be operated using a spring operation or gearbox and removable crank handle. A motorised and controlled by remote control application is also available.

Solarzip® can be manufactured in a wide range of fabrics, including clear PVC, but Solar View is the recommended fabric for this awning especially for its light filtering qualities. All awning components are made of stainless steel, zinc or colour matched aluminium, powder coated to requirements, to form a highly resistant, lightweight and rust proof construction.
