SchistClad — Real Stone Veneer Cladding System (BRANZ Appraised)
Description

SchistClad panels are made up of individual pieces of natural stone bonded to a nylon mesh. SchistClad panels can be used as part of the BRANZ Appraised Craftstone Real Stone Veneer System  (BRANZ Appraisal 793).

The system features SchistClad panels bonded to sealed fibre cement board. The fibre cement is fixed over timber battens to form a 20mm cavity, and mechanically anchored to the structural wall framing by stainless steel screws.

The system eliminates the need for foundation footings or engineered lintels, and allows for fast installation and cost-efficient application of the stone system for those on a budget.

SchistClad panels are available in seven colours, and includes.

  • Z shaped wall panels (550 x 200mm)
  • 90 degree corner panels
  • Matching sills, capstones and accessories
