AFS Rediwall is a permanent PVC formwork system. The extruded components simply clip or slide into place, automatically interconnecting for rapid assembly and an attractive, low maintenance wall surface.
Available in thicknesses of 110mm, 156mm, 200mm, 256mm, 275mm, and 300mm, Rediwall caters for a range of different applications in basement and retaining wall situations. Due to the speed of construction, it allows builders to get out of the mess that is basement construction a lot faster.
Rediwall is ideally used as basement or retaining walls due to the clean finish and water resistant qualities.
However, it can be used to replace any concrete wall in multi-residential buildings such as corridor, intertenancy, lift and stair shaft walls.
If designed and installed in accordance with AFS technical literature Rediwall complies with the following provisions of the NZBC:
Rediwall has been used in New Zealand since 2014.
Projects such as the Eden Green apartments and Miro Apartments in Auckland used Rediwall as their primary structure including intertenancy walls, corridor walls, and lift and stair shafts. Other projects have used it just as a basement wall such as Outlook, Mission Bay.
AFS NZ manufacture and install permanent formwork systems for the multi-residential market throughout New Zealand.
