WideRIB Entrance Carpet
Description

With very high UV and slip resistance, WideRIB polypropylene entrance carpet is designed to perform in a variety of demanding areas both indoors and outdoors. A high needle-punch pile weight makes this carpet incredibly durable even in really tough environments. Available in grey.

Options: 

  • Outdoor: WideRIBuv polypropylene entrance carpet has a very high UV resistance allowing the carpet to be used outdoors on decks, walkways and ramps as a slip resistant surface.
  • Indoors: WideRIB is an effective entrance carpet solution, that traps soil and moisture from footwear walked in from all directions.

Scope of Use
  • WideRIBuv is designed to perform outdoors on decks, walkways and ramps as a slip-resistant surface
  • WideRIB can be used indoors in conjunction with carpet tiles as an effective entrance carpet solution
  • The high needle-punch pile weight provides an excellent surface to withstand sporting boot sprigs, ice skates, and skis
Statement of Building Code Compliance
  • WideRIB is NZBC compliant and exceeds the minimum of 2.2 kW/m² CRF required for exits in all buildings excluding non-sprinkled buildings for detention or care, C/VM2, Verification Method: Framework for Fire Safety Design (the New Zealand Building Code Clauses C1-C6 Protection from Fire requires floor surfaces in exitways to achieve a minimum of 2.2 kW/m²).
  • Test Certificates available upon request
  • The New Zealand Building Code recommends that an entrance mat should have a minimum dimension of 1.8 metres from front to back which allows for two contacts of each foot. Refer Acceptable Solution D1/AS1 Access Routes.
