Create Show-Stopping Exteriors with Trespa Meteon

Once installed, Trespa Meteon panels require only an annual clean. There is no ongoing painting, scaffolding costs or tradesmen needed on site, making the through life cost of the panels extremely low and avoiding disruption for tenants or occupants with unnecessary maintenance and disturbances.

Trespa Meteon was recently specified on the Gateway project, eight new office buildings located in Highbrook. Trespa’s large colour range allowed Williams Architects to specify three different wood decors to differentiate the buildings while keeping a consistent look. Loft Brown, Wenge and Country Wood Satin finish provided Gateway with the look of real timber in a colourfast panel that stays consistent over time, without any maintenance costs usually associated with timber.

Décortech has developed Profix systems for Trespa Meteon panels. Profix Systems range from the easy to install, cost-effective PXF system to the seismically tested TSEQ  system and are fully compliant with the NZBC.

The Profix PXF system can now be used in more projects than ever before. The Profix PXF cladding system is scoped and compliant for building heights up to 10 metres. Profix PXF is easy to install and can be installed by the main contractor, helping to keep costs down and reduce the number of tradesmen on site.

For building heights over 10 metres Décortech can offer options for solutions that meet the New Zealand building code requirements for fire performance.

Trespa Meteon provides architects and specifiers with an attractive, durable and sustainable solution for creating stunning facades. Rawhiti Estate recently installed Trespa Meteon on the soffits using Elegant Oak Satin finish from the Wood Décor Range. Ministry of Architecture + Interiors designed the show-stopping entrance, installing the Trespa as an angled, raking soffit lining flowing into the Décortech Tasmanian Ash Veneered Multigroove panels installed in the same way on the interior. The low maintenance of Trespa Meteon is ideally suited to retirement villages such as Rawhiti Estate where ensuring no disruptions to clientele is of utmost importance.
