Neptune flooring is a floating floor that has the appearance of wooden planks but is in fact a multi-layered Stone Polymer Composite (SPC) flooring system. Each layer works in partnership to create a floor that is not only 100% waterproof, but one that will stand up to the tough demands of daily life. Unlike standard vinyl or wood based products, Neptune flooring has a limestone core that makes it incredibly stable and most importantly waterproof. It is also 100% free of ortho-pthalates and other harmful substances such as plasticisers. The Neptune product range has a UL GreenGuard Gold certification, which ensures the product is suitable for the most sensitive of people and environments. Neptune SPC also has a built in SE+ anti-bacterial surface which has been specifically developed to consistently protect the floor against harmful bacteria.

Neptune SPC was designed to be the “easiest floor to install and maintain” (Neptune Flooring). It is easily installed with minimal tools with the majority of cutting achieved with a stanley knife. Neptune comes with a sound absorbing underlay so there is no need to first install a separate underlay, and it can be easily laid onto most existing floors. It simply clicks together in a time-efficient manner and can be used throughout all areas of a home including kitchens, laundries and bathrooms.

Neptune is very durable and easy to maintain. It won’t warp or fade, it is stain resistant and isn’t affected by temperature or humidity fluctuations. It has a tough wear layer for durability so it isn’t easily scratched or dented, but it must be protected when moving heavy objects and furniture around. Regular vacuuming and the occasional mop, with other spills cleaned immediately, are the only required maintenance for this floor.
