When Owner/Director of Evolution Exterior Plastering Ltd, Blair Clark was looking for a reliable plaster cladding system that offered durable performance with a no-compromise all-around weather tightness plus an excellent finish, he chose Enviro 50mm AAC cladding and render from Masons.
That decision was way back in 2014, and now, over 400 houses later, Blair still loves the system.
“I use Masons AAC Panel System regularly due to its reliability and quality. The flashings are easy to use and the plaster gives a very consistent flat textured finish,” says Blair. “If plans come to me with an AAC panel System, I will recommend Masons.”
Enviro 50mm AAC (Autoclaved Aerated Concrete) claddings are relatively light, add a solid quality feel, install quickly, and with Mason's proprietary flashings and a 20mm ventilated cavity there are no worries about weather tightness. Coats of polymer-modified plaster over mesh follow. The final texture coat is Masons 1mm texture. Three coats of premium elastomeric acrylic paint complete the system.
Enviro 50mm cladding and plaster are cost-effective when the finished system is compared to other installed and painted claddings, and begin to stack up well against masonry veneers as the laid m² rates have increased.
The Masons 50mm Enviro cladding and plaster system is covered by a CodeMark Certificate for complete peace of mind.
The benefits:
- Plaster is a versatile and useful cladding choice that can help solve problems
- It can be a good aesthetic choice
- It installs fast and work can continue inside the build once the panel is up
- It is very reliable and provides excellent weather tightness
- It is cost-effective against common claddings
