Designed for discerning guests, this Northland resort offers a range of accommodation options for visitors to their unique beachside setting. Top quality finishes were used on the newly built accommodation areas, including retractable insect screens on all window and door openings, for summer comfort. In particular, the screens for the balcony and entrance doors are a modern, European designed, Venette Pleated Retractable Screen, chosen for their durability, good looks and user-friendly operation.

Venette pleated screens are manufactured using a strong, pleated polyester PVC mesh, which is fitted in the frame using specially designed components, which prevent the mesh from dropping or blowing out. The finished screens are easy to use, opening and closing with the touch of a finger, whilst the narrowest of bottom profiles means there is no rail to trip over. When in use, the pleated mesh screen is semi-transparent and minimally intrusive, which was particularly important for the resort with such stunning beachside views.

Aluminium frames on the screens were finished in a powder coat colour to match the window and door joinery. Discreetly retracting into the side profile of the screens, Venette insect screens were the ultimate solution for keeping out bugs, without detracting from the overall finish on this newly built resort.
