PGH Bricks (the sister company to Monier Bricks NZ) were featured in the award winning, heritage listed Corner Store Café in the Horbury Hunt Outdoor category. The brief was to maintain the feel of the era while giving the café a modern alfresco feel and look.

This was met by using traditional style bricks mixed with bullnose accessories to create and deliver a design palette to match the look and feel of yesteryear.

The original building still stands and blends seamlessly with the new extensions offering a distinctive and signature look. The use of brickwork in a versatile way also forms part of the existing furniture within the café.
