comfortBack is a new premium carpet backing option which joins modulyss' dBack acoustic backing. Both are made from the same material, 90% recycled polyester. However, the purpose of comfortBack is for underfoot comfort while the purpose of dBack is to improve acoustics. Therefore, the composition of the comfortBack is less dense and slightly less thick than dBack.
