Make a Design Statement with a Fabric Wall from Asona

The company's mission is simple, says Neil Ridgway, Managing Director of Asona. "We approach every ceiling, every wall with pride, passion and performance; and the Snaptex stretch fabric acoustic wall in BECA’s new Auckland office reception is a great example of our work." The fabric selection, mounting system, lighting and furniture have come together to create a wall with real X factor and one that also controls noise for quiet comfort in this busy office.

Snaptex is a site built, proprietary hinged stretcher system that allows a wide range of fabrics, from standard screen fabrics to luscious upholstery fabrics, to be stretch fitted over acoustic board, pin board or felt padding material. Snaptex’s unique hinged design, forces the jaws to tighten as the fabric is stretched, gripping it in place. This is superior to friction fit systems where the fabric can slip out under load. It also allows for attractive expressed negative details to be easily formed between panels and is available in square, bevel and round edge profiles.
