This bathroom and ensuite, designed by Annika Rowson for her own family home, is a stunning example of how Corian Solid Surface can be used as a feature for bathroom design. Annika has complemented the design by using iB Rubinetti tapware in rose gold.
The house was built in the 1940s, so it was important for Annika’s design to retain character while providing an elegant yet functional space to suit the needs of her family of four. The original bathrooms featured green carpet, green vanities and floral wallpaper, so this transformation has been major and beautifully executed.
The vanities have been constructed with Corian Witch Hazel, utilising the reverse for a more dramatic effect with patterning and fitted with custom-made Corian oval basins in Glacier White.
Blum Servo Drive is the engineering behind the unobtrusive vanity drawers, while a simple grey tile was selected as a neutral base and to highlight the grey tones in the Corian Witch Hazel.
Complementing the tones in the custom Corian Witch Hazel vanity is the warmth from the rose gold tapware from iB Rubinetti, Annika specified the Kelly Hoppen KH-02 range for its elegant form and exceptional quality that has been beautifully crafted in Italy.
