An integrated approach to acoustic ceiling design meant “one size fits all” was not an option for the ceiling system at Glendowie Primary.

Ecoplus Systems supply the Acoustic Plus range of matching ceiling tiles. Each type of tile has specific acoustic attributes and when used in conjunction with each other, provides a balanced acoustic environment — all with a matching surface finish.

This range was used to good effect at Glendowie Primary. The new classrooms are fitted with sound absorbing tiles to the perimeter and reflective tiles to the centre to aide speech intelligibility. On lower levels the absorbing tiles are fitted with Dual Bloc composite backers to prevent sound transfer between levels.

All three tiles have a matching surface finish.
