The ideal site has been located at the Canterbury Agricultural Park on Curletts Road. A number of teams have come on board to exhibit their homes, including:
- Keith Hay Homes with Architex
- Laing Homes with Wilson & Hill Architects – Smart House
- Modprefab with Premier SIPs – Zero Energy House
- Lockwood Homes (Hornby)
- Black Hut
- Vicus – Passive House
The Innovation Park will be open to the public and industry alike – opening weekend is proposed for mid-February 2012. There will be a second stage scheduled for later 2012 to make a total of 10 houses at the site.
This project is assisted by a number of partners, including:
