In sociology, lifestyle is defined as the way a person lives. Well this month we look at how we can use innovative and smart solutions and materials to enhance the kiwi summer, and our enjoyment of the warmer (for some of us) weather and holiday break with family and friends. In this month's feature we profile dramatic pivot entrance doors, the latest in carpet flooring,  interior and exterior coatings, water heating and air cooling systems, as well as the latest in sun louvre systems.

The MCR lecture series continues with coverage of the Yardmasters project at Melbourne's Southern Cross Railway and the Monaco House project demonstrating the diversity of talents from this award winning Melbourne practise.
