Article Images
Architects are visual people and images are very important, so make sure they reflect your brand's commitment to product and service quality.
In your article, images will display in the image gallery above the main content. We cannot embed images within the copy of your article.
Images for articles should be free of text and logos, and should display your product clearly. We recommend high quality in-situ images from recent projects. You can submit 1-5 images per article.
Permission to use images
Images in EBOSSNOW articles will be published on our website and used to promote articles in our e-newsletters and social media accounts. Per our terms of use, please get permission from the photographer and building owner for any images used. You may credit the photographer in the image captions.
Image requirements
Follow these guidelines in order to upload images and have them display effectively.
Note that any image proportion (landscape or portrait) can display as your article's image, however to fill the gallery 100% we recommend an image in a 16:9 ratio. You can still submit images at other ratios (eg. if you have portrait images) but in these instances, white padding will be appear within the 16:9 gallery.

Captions
If you would like captions for any images, or to credit the photographer, select 'Edit Caption' on your uploaded image, type in the caption text and hit 'Save'.
Primary image
For each article the EBOSSNOW editor will select one of your submitted images to be used:
- As the first image in the gallery on the article page
- As the thumbnail image for the article (utilised throughout EBOSS.co.nz and in the email newsletter)

Image order
You can order your images after you have uploaded them. The EBOSSNOW editor may change this order of images. If you have a specific preference for image order, please contact [email protected] or add a note in your submission.
