Before You Start
What should I write about?
Architects respond well to examples of how other architects or designers have used a product in a project. Therefore we encourage you to write case studies which show how your product was used on a particular project, the issues it addressed, and the key features that led to its specification. Including a short quotation from the architect or developer gives the article credibility.
If you have a new product, you may wish to introduce that product in an article. In this case we recommend clearly explaining what the product is made of, where it can be used and the advantages of specifying the product.
We prioritise case studies and articles on brand new products over other more general articles in our newsletters.
How long should my article be?
We recommend writing articles of between 150-400 words. Articles introducing new products tend to be more brief (150-300 words) than more detailed case studies (250-400 words). Please write concisely. If an article does not meet these length guidelines, we may ask you to rewrite the article.
Featured Products
Each article must feature a product from your catalogue in the EBOSS library — ideally as a project case study. It can feature more than one product, although we encourage each article to focus on one product and 1-2 key benefits. Make sure you have the product(s) loaded in your EBOSS catalogue and fully complete with product assurance information and technical literature.
