Patrol Horizontal Lifelines
Description

The Patrol Horizontal Lifeline systems rely on a tensioned 7x7 stainless steel wire. The system is supplied with brackets, tensioners, wire, base plates suitable for the specific substrate and sliding units.

The system may be fixed to timber, concrete, or steel substrates with fixing systems that determine the distance of the tensioned wire from the substrate and are specific to the substrate and environmental conditions.

Key Features
  • Minimal visual impact
  • Simple installation
  • Tensioned line reduces load in event of a fall
  • Suitable for variety of substrates and environmental conditions
  • Installation option on standing seam or trapezoidal metal roofs without drilling into roof — no penetration of building envelope
  • Tower fixing systems determine the distance of the tensioned wire from the substrate
  • Can be installed on walls, flat and sloping roofs, and on ceilings
  • Withstands all plane stresses (360°)
Scope of Use
  • Timber, concrete or steel substrates
  • On standing seam metal roofs, on trapezoidal metal roofs with and without insulation
  • Walls, sloped or flat roofs, or overhead
  • Supported on zinc plated towers or stainless steel towers to set line at distance from building
  • Stainless steel tower option ideal for coastal/corrosive environments
  • Fixing systems that determine the distance of the tensioned wire from the substrate
  • System is supplied with brackets, tensioners, wire, base plates suitable for the specific substrate and sliding units
Limitations on Use
  • Must be installed and maintained in accordance with Rothoblaas technical literature
