Description

Resene Fresh Air - Carparking is a semi-transparent waterborne satin topcoat with photocatalytic pigments. Designed to break down NOx and organic atmospheric pollutants that come into contact with the film. Apply as a thin topcoat over a white substrate. This product has been designed for use in interior carparks. Activity is increased with increasing light flux.

Key Features

Colour: Semi-transparent white, substrate colour will show through. Not suitable for tinting.
A sacrificial, active photocatalytic coating for the degradation of organic and NOx pollutants improving the air quality. Reduces volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Easy to apply — one thin coat over a white substrate is all that is needed.
Low odour.

Limitations on Use

This product is sacrificial. During its functional lifetime film thickness will slowly decrease. A new coat can be reapplied once the old coat has been sacrificed.
Light chalking will occur and can be removed by washing with Resene House Wash and Paint Prep (see Data Sheet D88). Annual washing should be undertaken to maintain effectiveness.
Not suitable for exterior applications or where water ponding may occur. Prolonged exposure to water will temporarily soften the paint film and reduce resistance to mechanical damage.
Not suitable for areas that require pressure washing or waterblasting.
