Description

Perfect for the younger age group, Kindycube is designed to resist the rough-and-tumble of pre-school children. Well thought out dimensions allow for a child's privacy under adult supervision, with self-closing doors that shut without locking.

Minimal dirt traps ensure these cubicles are easy to clean units. Kindycube is made from 13mm panels of Resco's rugged, solid core compact laminate. All doors and partitions are finished with a smooth half-round edge. There are height adjustable nylon pedestals and nylon hinges for self-closing doors.

Scope of Use

Resco's partitions are used to offer privacy in communal toilets, showers or change room facilities. The compact laminate panels are extremely versatile, allowing the systems to be installed in wet and high-abuse environments.

Limitations on Use

Resco products are intended for internal use. Compact laminate panels are not colourfast in New Zealand's UV conditions and the colours fade when used outdoors. When used in the open outdoors the product is more prone to damage.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Resco’s Kindycube partitioning system meets the following provisions of the NZBC:

Clause B2 Durability: The code requires 5 years; Resco compact laminate has a 10 year guarantee on the panel.
Clause C Fire Safety: Resco compact laminate has a group rating of 3 which meets the surface finish requirements for C/AS1 — C/AS7.
Clause E3 Internal Moisture: Surfaces of building elements likely to be splashed must be impervious and easily cleaned; Resco compact laminate meets these requirements.
Clause G1 Personal Hygiene: Sanitary fixtures shall provide appropriate privacy, allow effective cleaning, avoid dirt or germs and facilitate sanitation; Resco cubicles are designed to meet these requirements.
Clause G1 AS1 Accessibility: Personal hygiene facilities provided for people with disabilities shall be accessible; Resco cubicles are designed to meet these requirements.
