Description

Kāhu is a new profile option for fencing and has a high rib symmetrical profile which offers a similar look to both sides of the fence. The Kāhu® fencing system is rollformed from double sided NZ Steel COLORSTEEL.

Key Features
  • Offers the longevity and durability of steel and saves the trouble of post painting
  • Manufactured from locally sourced steel from New Zealand Steel in COLORSTEEL® ENDURA®
  • Can be used as infill panels between block or brick columns
  • Can be installed in both flat and sloping sites
  • The post and rails are manufactured from double sided 0.75BMT G550 galvanised steel from New Zealand Steel and are available as standard in the same colours as the fence
  • Standard fence height of 1.8m, custom heights are also available
  • Backed by a warranty of up to 10 years from NZ Steel Ltd 
  • Metalcraft Fencing has no toe holds, this makes it harder to climb

Scope of Use
  • The Kahu profile looks similar on both sides of the fence — great for where the fence will be viewed from either side
  • No toe holds making it harder to climb — ideal for added security
  • Standard fence height of 1.8m. Custom heights are also available
  • Can be used as infill panels between block or brick columns
  • Can be installed in both flat and sloping sites
Limitations on Use
  • Metalcraft Fencing System is acceptable in a Moderate ISO Category 3 environment
  • Installation in zones up to High Wind Zone, anything above this consult with the local Metalcraft branch
  • Poolside and barrier fencing require specific design requirements outside the standard scope of Metalcraft Fencing. Please contact Metalcraft as to the suitability of Metalcraft Fencing for these specific areas
