RAB Board
Description

RAB™ Board is a pre-sealed, cost effective rigid air barrier for use in medium to high-rise construction. Designed for use in Extra High wind zones and in Specific Engineered Design projects exposed to high wind pressure. An alternative to traditional building underlays. The unique green panel has a built in air and water resistant barrier to keep moisture out, while still allowing the moisture vapour to pass through allowing framing cavity to dry.

  • RAB Board 6mm

Is a 6mm thick fibre cement sheet which is sealed on the face and edges and is suitable for use as a rigid air barrier in Extra High (EH) wind zones or in wind pressures up to 4.5kPa.

  • RAB Board 9mm

Is a 9mm thick fibre cement sheet which is sealed on the face and edges and is suitable for use as a rigid air barrier in Extra High (EH) wind zones or in wind pressures up to 4.5kPa.
RAB Board 9mm is suitable for specific design shear wall for residential or commercial applications where the structural design requires strong/stiffer shear walls.
