Residential Bi-Fold Doors
For high-performance double-glazing, explore AGP’s product range available now Explore
Description

An in-frame bottom roller track allows greater carrying capacity and facilitates the 'lay-back' option where two-panel configurations can swing back against an adjoining wall for clutter-free decks.

These are bottom-rolling and rated to 2.1m high in very high wind zones. For higher doors consider using the Metro Series or APL Architectural Series.

Key Features
  • For mainstream residential use
  • A flat-face frame, rails and stiles for a clean, contemporary look
  • Recommended maximum 2100mm high doors in Extra High wind zones. For larger sizes consider using the Metro Series and APL Architectural Series
  • The efficient bottom roller system allows optimum load capacity and increased panel width
  • For uncluttered decks a 'lay-back' option allows two panels to swing back against adjoining walls rather than project out at 90° (available in 2-panel, 2+1 and 2+2 configurations)
  • Corner bi-folds (90°) are available that do not require a corner post
  • Same profiles as hinged and French doors ensure continuity of style
  • Rebated sill track option allows flush floor levels inside and out (for sheltered locations only)

Limitations on Use

  • Careful consideration of bi-fold use is required when projecting on to decks or pedestrian areas (lay-back option available in this situation)
  • Consider the ease of reaching to the bi-fold handle if the window is placed beyond a bench
  • Open bi-folds need to be monitored if windy conditions occur
  • Free-swinging single panels not recommended
