Description

With fixed and removable strainer baskets, the Storm series Double Strainer Basket features durable cast construction and a spigot which fits inside a pipe riser with an O-ring seal.

Grates are available in a variety of metal finishes, and can be round, square, or square hinged.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

NZBC E1 Surface Water: 

E1.1/E1.2: Allproof Surface water drainage systems have been designed to safeguard people from injury or illness, and other property from damage caused by surface water.

E1.3.1/E1.3.2: When correctly selected for the scenario and installed in line with Allproof literature these systems will protect property from surface water in an event having a 10% probability of occurring annually or entering a property in an event having a 2% probability of occurring annually.

E1.3.3: When selected and installed correctly Allproof surface water systems with convey water to an appropriate outfall using gravity, avoid the likelihood of blockages, provide access for maintenance and clearing blockages, and avoid the likelihood of damage from superimposed loads or normal ground movements.

NZBC G13/AS1 Foul water G13.1(b), G13.3.1(c) & (d) and clause 3.4 Floor Outlets: Allproof floor waste systems (water traps and grates) have been designed and manufactured to be compliant to all requirements set out in G13/AS1-

  • The water seal in the gully prevents foul air and gases entering buildings.
  • Grates are removable to access the system for maintenance and cleaning.
  • Grates finish flush with the floor. 
  • Outlets exceed the minimum diameter.
  • Refer to install guides and specifications for further information.

NZBC G13/AS3 Foul water and AS/NZS 3500.2 clauses 4.6: Allproof floor waste systems have been designed to comply with all criteria outlined in AS/NZS 3500.2 and modifications covered in NZBC G13/AS3. Outlet connections designed to specifications in Appendix A of 3500.2. Gullies designed in accordance to requirements in clause 4.6.

 

B2/AS1 Durability: B2.3.1 - Allproof surface water drainage systems meet the requirements of B2.3.1 (b) not less than 15 years and (c) not less than 5 years.

AS 3996 Access covers and grates: Allproof surface water drainage systems have been designed to comply to the specifications and testing set out in AS 3996. By complying to this standard Allproof products are made to improve the performance of trafficable covers and grates in vehicular and pedestrian areas, thus reducing risk of injury or loss through damage.
