Description

3M™ Ultra Series Window Films are made from clear, tear-resistant film. These films deliver superior performance over standard polyester films in blast and impact events, yet still maintain a high level of optical clarity. They are designed to hold broken glass onto the film, thus reducing the possibility of injury or damaged caused by flying glass shards.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

In many cases where glazing requires an upgrade to safety glass, 3M™ Ultra Series Window Films can be applied to bring it in line with AS/NZS 2208
When applied to 3mm, 4mm or 6mm annealed glass, 3M Ultra Series Window Films meet the Grade A impact requirements of AS/NZS 2208

Other Performance Attributes

An optically clear, glass shatter resistant, and abrasion resistant window film, which, when applied to the interior window surface, will help hold broken glass together and reduce the ultra-violet light
Provides an increased measure of protection in a broad range of uses, including basic glass fragment retention, spontaneous glass breakage, seismic preparedness, safety glazing, bomb blast mitigation, smash and grab or break and entry events
