In 2019 Italian tile manufacturer EDIMAX introduced the tile world to a new and innovative production process called 3D Shaped Technology — a remarkable digital manufacturing process that is used to give maximum realism to porcelain tiles. This process replicates the visual and tactile characteristics of natural materials like wood, slate and stone. The result is the production of what they describe as a hyper-realistic porcelain — tiles with all the structures, veins, reliefs and recesses, colours and nuances found in natural materials. Being made with porcelain, however, they have the benefits of superior strength and durability, as well as being stain and water resistant, easy to clean and maintain, and easy to install with no sealing or sanding required.

New to The Tile Depot range in 2023 is this first collection from the EDIMAX 3D Shaped Technology range: More 3D. This new collection is on point with current interior tile trends where the colours and textures of nature are in hot demand but superior durability is a must.

Initially stocked in two colourways, the More 3D collection looks and feels just like the natural slate stones that inspired the design. Rich in colour, pattern and texture, the More 3D collection just calls to be touched. Inspired by natural slate and produced in beautiful earthy tones, More 3D will introduce more than a touch of refined nature to interior spaces.

There are two stocked colourways; More Nut 3D and More Sunset 3D. Each colourway comes with 16 unique faces that are randomly supplied, which further enhances the realistic replication of nature.

More Nut 3D

Described by the manufacturer as capturing “The essence of earth”, More Nut 3D is a lovely taupe design. Reminiscent of exposed bare earth in a range of light taupe to mid greys with all the texture and appearance of weathered sandstone, Nut is a soothing yet spirited design for any interior space.

More Sunset 3D

Is a more dramatic option than Nut. Inspired by a blend of Brazilian, Indian and South African slates, More Sunset is a multi-coloured slate design comprised of a mix of rusty terracotta flushes across a dark charcoal surface. An energetic design with a truly rustic, earthy character.

Designed to create truly statement floors and even walls if you dare, More 3D is a truly exciting addition to the 2023 Tile Depot range.
