As 2022 sees the outdoor kitchen trend surge, Veosys brings better durability to challenging design situations such as the exposure of an outdoor kitchen. Its corrosion resistance also has obvious benefits for other high moisture or salt areas, such as coastal homes, indoor pools, and gyms.
Hettich New Zealand’s Design & Specification Manager Elaine Addy says the new product is a straightforward specification for outdoor cabinetry.
“There is an increasing expectation among New Zealand homeowners that the luxuries they love in their kitchen are carried through to outdoor living,” says Addy.
“Veosys is a specification designers can be confident in, with a high-grade stainless steel and great quality assurance testing. The homeowners they are designing for can be assured of something long lasting. And manufacturers get to work with an easy to install product. Everybody gets what they need.”
Veosys is available in stainless steel grade 304, which is commonly seen in sinks and insulated water bottles. Its corrosion resistance has been tested in an internationally recognised salt-spray test for 120hours, outperforming other outdoor hinges available in.
The fast-assembly hinge can be used with full or half overlay door framing or inset. It features Hettich’s recognisable integrated Silent System, with a soft-closing functionality that keeps working smoothly over an impressively broad temperature range.
Veosys is the first release in what Hettich expects to be a complete outdoor cabinetry hardware product offering available in 2023.
