The architect for the new Ranfurly Retirement Village in Three Kings, Auckland was after materials that would have a visual impact. In addition, having a vision for the future of the building, they were looking for materials that would not require ongoing maintenance, especially on a commercial building of this scale.
The tongue and groove Dynex Soffit lining, with hidden fixings, gave the look that they were after. As the pre-finished soffit lining never needs painting, it was a perfect fit for the vision of the retirement village, and matched well with the other cladding choices.
The soffit lining is being installed by Cladding Specialists and is due to be completed mid 2017.
