Resi9 Circuit Protection
Description

The new Resi9 range offers a comprehensive range of circuit protection solutions.

 Circuit Protection Overview:

  • Step 1: Residual Current Device — Helps to protect from faults which could cause electrocution
  • Step 2: Surge Protection — Helps to protect valuable electrical appliances from lightings strikes, power surges and voltage strikes
  • Step 3: Arc Fault Detection — Damaged cables and fault appliances can cause arc faults, which can result in fires. Reduce the risk with AFDD

The Resi9 range includes:

  • MCBs (6A - 40A)
  • RCDs (40A & 63A)
  • Slim RCBOs (6A - 32A)
  • Arc Fault Detection Devices (AFDDs)
  • Surge Protection Device (SPD)
  • 1-3 Pole Main Switches (100A rated)
  • Maxbar — the next generation of busbar
  • Plastic enclosures/switchboards (10 - 60 ways) with improved design
  • Plus switchboard accessories
Key Features

Installation flexibility and customisation:

  • Suitable for MCBs/RCDs or RCBOs installation
  • Top or bottom line-feed option for all devices*
  • MCBs and main switches feature a larger terminal size, which makes it easier to double over larger cables

100A rated system:

  • Designed to endure 20K mechanical cycles and 10K electrical cycles*
  • Designed for tough New Zealand conditions with operating temperatures ranging from -25 Deg C to +70 Deg C with derating.

Maxbar Installation:

  • Helps to achieve installation speed of up to 2 times faster than using the traditional RCCB+MCB method, and using RCBOs can help to save critical space in the switchboard, and make fault finding simpler.
  • Provides installation flexibility as the Maxbar can connect the main switch directly to any type of Resi9 RCBO — SLIM, 2 module or AFDD
  • Helps achieve a perfectly clean installation inside an electrical switchboard for single phase residential installations, as no cables are needed for feeding RCBOs

*All devices except 2 module RCCBs
