Description

Panther Access Panels offer a range of panels for both residential and commercial applications. The Standard range includes sound-rated panels and metal-face budget panels, that can be installed in both steel stud and masonry walls, and in suspended ceilings. Fire-rated panels are suitable for suspended ceilings.

Panels are available in five standard sizes, and custom sizes can be ordered. Surround finishes can be Flanged or Set Bead, and a variety of lock options are available.

Specialised Architectural Panels:

This range includes panels with polymer doors and polymer frame for wet areas, or panels for high security facilities, such as prisons, that have galvanised or stainless steel doors and specialised locking systems.

Scope of Use

Commercial or residential applications

Standard Range:

Sound Rated and Metal Faced panels can be installed in masonry and steel stud walls, and suspended ceilings
Fire Rated panels for suspended ceilings only

Specialised Architectural Panels:

Tiled, Perforated Plasterboard — panels to match specialised wall or ceiling finishes are also available by order
Wet Areas
Security Panels for applications requiring secure installation
The High Performance HP51 Panel has high sounding for service shafts and is suitable for walls or vertical bulkheads where access to concealed services is required

Limitations on Use

Fire-rated Access Panels have been tested for ceiling applications only and cannot be installed in walls
Tile Panels are made to order — tiles are not supplied
Rondo recommends installation by a qualified tradesperson, and in accordance with the Panther Access Panels Design Manual

Other Performance Attributes

Each access panel has been rigorously tested for both quality and performance, particularly in regards to fire ratings and acoustic ratings
Sound Rated Access Panels have a polymer frame unique to Rondo which is 30% lighter and means they are easier and quicker to install, saving time on site.
