In-Service History

PGH's New Zealand brick range had its start in 1862 as Monier Bricks, with manufacturing in New Lynn, Auckland. Monier Bricks rebranded to PGH Bricks in October 2024.

Other Performance Attributes

PGH warrants that the bricks manufactured and supplied will remain fit for purpose and maintain colourfastness (i.e. they will not fade or change shade) for 25 years from the date of warranty registration or purchase. This warranty is subject to the terms, conditions, and exclusions set out below.

Store in the original packaging in a cool, dry area, away from foodstuffs.  Ensure packages are adequately labelled, and protected from physical damage.  Brick cleaning after bricklaying is a specialist trade and should only be undertaken by a professional. The chemicals and high-water pressures used can easily damage the product, if not done correctly. Different brick textures and colours often have different cleaning considerations. Dry brushing bricks periodically when laying to remove residual mortar is an effective way to reduce the amount of effort required to clean bricks. Bricks should be cleaned within 2 to 14 days of laying.
