PowerFloor
Description

Hebel PowerFloor panel system is a high-performance lightweight AAC flooring system.

Hebel PowerFloor panels are 75mm steel-reinforced solid floor panels installed over steel or timber joists to give an excellent solid base for just about any floor covering including floor tiles, floating timber floors and carpet.

This provides a superior floor solution with acoustic and thermal insulation benefits and provides the feel of a solid concrete floor at a significantly lower cost.

CSR Hebel PowerFloor System comprises:

  • lightweight steel reinforced autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) panel installed over steel or timber floor joist system forming a platform floor, and
  • Winstone Wallboards GIB® and
  • 90mm ceiling batts with thermal resistance R1.8.

CSR Hebel PowerFloor panels are 75mm thick reinforced with corrosion-protected steel mesh and have tongue and groove edges.

Key Features
  • Solid feel eliminating the bounce and flex of timber sheet or board flooring.
  • Superior thermal performance – particularly for suspended floors on sloping sites.
  • Extremely strong, each panel is reinforced with corrosion-protected steel mesh. The panels fit snugly together to form a strong and smooth floor.
  • Not affected by weather during installation.
  • Hebel PowerFloor can be easily installed by normal on-site tradesmen such as carpenters.
  • Reduced foot-fall noise between floors and elimination of squeaking associated with particle board floors.
Scope of Use

Hebel PowerFloor systems are joist floor solutions for residential, low rise multi-residential, commercial and industrial construction.

The floor applications consist of a Hebel PowerFloor panel connected to a steel or timber joist system forming a platform floor.

  • Energy Efficiency and Sound Insulation performance is dependent on the appurtenant ceiling system, floor covering type, and the use of 90mm ceiling batts with thermal resistance R1.8. Refer to the Hebel® PowerFloor Low Rise Residential & Commercial Floor System Design and Installation Guide New Zealand (HELIT014– SEP21) for exact values for each ceiling system.
  • The floor lining must be tested and assessed separately to comply with C3.4(b) of the building code.
