Low Profile Panel Fastener For Drywall — LP-DF8 & LP-M8A
Description

A low profile hidden mounting system for panels especially suited to drywall applications and for panels subject to frequent removal and replacement. The Low Profile Range is ideal for applications that require less depth compared to the Standard Clip range, with lateral movement in female clip half. Installs into various materials such as MDF, drywall and foam core panels. Ideal for removable wall panels, acoustic panels, bedheads, thin-walled panels, and curved panels.

Supplied with installation and removal tools.  Made from white acetal co-polymer.

  • LP-DF8  is designed for soft core material, self taps into plasterboard (drywall) and is used with male Low Profile clips, centre point and install tools
  • LP-M8A is a male low profile self-tapping clip designed to mount easily into plywood and MDF panels. Compatible with the LP-F8, LP-DF8 and LP-AF8A, the LP-M8A allows mounting of panels into a variety of substrate types, including plasterboard.

Scope of Use

Low profile clips for invisible fixing of panels subject to frequent removal, suitable for use on drywall and other substrates such as MDF and plywood.

  • Self taps into drywall plasterboard minimum 10mm thick (LP-DF8)
  • Self taps into plywood or MDF with minimum 6 mm thickness (LP-M8A)
  • Remove and replace panels in any sequence (500+ times LP-M8A)
  • 4mm clearance between panel and substrate
