Description

Edgesmith's range of sliding gate motors have a 100% duty cycle through the use of brushless technology. From Large industrial gates weighing up to 1500kg down to simple light residential gates, there is a motor to suit.

A brushless motor with precision control these are both energy efficient and safe. The capability of increasing the sensitivity means the lightest touch and these gate motors will immediately reverse away from an object.

Grande: 

  • Capable of moving gates up to 1500kg
  • Maximum gate length of 20m
  • Opening speeds of 25m per minute
  • Motor power supply is a low 650W at 36V

Medio:

  • Capable of moving gates up to 600kg
  • Maximum gate length of 12m
  • Opening speeds of 26m per minute
  • Motor power supply is a low 130W at 24V 

Bambino:

  • Capable of moving gates up to 400kg
  • Maximum gate length of 12m
  • Opening speeds of 26m per minute
  • Motor power supply is a low 125W at 24V

Tower TW90 In-post Motor:   

  • Capable of moving gates up to 600kg
  • Maximum gate length of 12m
  • Opening speeds of 25m per minute
  • Housed inside a 150x150mm post 
  • Motor power supply is a low 180W at 24V

Tower TW110 In-post motor 

  • Capable of moving gates up to 1600kg
  • Maximum gate length of 20m
  • Opening speeds of 25m per minute
  • Housed inside a 250x250mm post 
  • Motor power supply is a low 240W at 36V

Limitations on Use
  • The ratio between gate length & weight need to be considered when choosing the correct motor
  • Other factors like wind or style of gate (solid infill or open picket) should also be considered
