Cabot's Deck Clean
Description

Cabot's Deck Clean is an essential preparation product that cleans and rejuvenates new and old timber surfaces prior to applying a top coat of oil, stain or exterior varnishes.

It is designed to revitalise and clean grey, weathered and soiled timber and removes naturally occurring tannin stains from new timber. It is also effective in helping to remove mould and other contaminates.

*Badly mould affected timber should be cleaned with a bleach solution first, as bleach is a better mould killer.

**Badly weathered timber should be sanded, as stated on labels of the various topcoats.

Scope of Use
  • All exterior timber including decking, BBQs, doors, outdoor garden settings, pergolas, rails, steps, weatherboards, window frames
Limitations on Use
  • Protect plants, bushes, metal and paint work that are not to be cleaned, with plastic sheets
  • Rinse off immediately and thoroughly if contact occurs
  • Cabot's Deck Clean is not a paint remover, however it may remove some old and weathered coatings from timber
  • Badly mould affected timber should be cleaned with a bleach solution first, as bleach is a better mould killer
  • Badly weathered timber should be sanded, as stated on labels of the various topcoats
