The Wetpour seamless application is the most popular of the Burgess playground systems. It is available in three textures:
This is the most commonly used safety surface which has a non slip, porous surface. The texture is similar to small grains of rice which are polymerically bonded to produce a hardwearing all weather surface.
Small granular chipped rubber pressed together to provide a coarser surface and a slightly more porous surface than the Safebond for draining extra large volumes of surface water.
Small permanent colour synthetic EPDM rubber with the same properties as Flexibond, with a softer feel and more colour options. Can be used for designs within the safebond matting as it is not an economical option for larger areas.
Tiles are manufactured in one metre squares 15-40mm thick. They are easily installed to keep costs to a minimum and are suitable for laying over timber, concrete, asphalt or a stable prepared base.
A DIY alternative are the modular matting rolls which are laid out in the play area to form a large mat surface and can be manufactured to your requirements or ready-made sizes are available.
Suitable for:
For impact areas, Burgess Matting can provide a permanent cost-effective solution to eliminate scuff zone maintenance in play areas. The scuff pads are suitable for the bottom of swings and slides an other playground equipment.
The system continually performs well in independent impact tests.
Burgess Matting manufacture and supply domestic, industrial, recreational and commercial entrance matting.
