Gerflor Taralay Impression Acoustic Heterogeneous Sheet Vinyl
Description

Gerflor Taralay Impression Acoustic is an acoustic multi-layered sheet vinyl with a Very High Density (VHD) foam backing reinforced with a glass fibre layer and a printed design that is protected by a transparent wear layer. It offers good impact sound insulation at 19dB and has high wear and indentation resistance.

Equipped with Protecsol® 2 which is a patented surface treatment obtained by UV laser cross-linking, offering the best chemical resistance to the products used in healthcare environment such as betadine, eosin, hydro alcoholic solutions, making maintenance easy and the floor long lasting. This treatment avoids applying any acrylic emulsion throughout the lifetime of the product.

Scope of Use
  • Suitable in very high traffic commercial areas

Limitations on Use
  • Indoor use only
  • Substrate must have a relative humidity of 75% or below
  • Seams to be welded using Belgotex supplied weldrod
  • Must be installed using the specified adhesive

  • B2.3.1(c) Alternative Solution, Taralay Impression Acoustic is manufactured to ISO9001 standard and meets the minimum durability requirement of 5 years
  • C3.4(b) Acceptable Solution, Taralay Impression Acoustic has been tested against ISO9239-1 standard achieving a CRF of 8.1kW/m²
  • D1.3.3(d) Acceptable Solution, Taralay Impression Acoustic achieves P5 slip rating when tested to AS 4586:2013 Appendix A
  • E3.3.3, E3.3.5 Acceptable Solution, Taralay Impression Acoustic is an acceptable solution and an integrally waterproof sheet material as defined under E3/AS1 3.1.1(a)
