The K-Compact cubicle system selected for the school bathrooms features 13mm compact laminate ‘Juicy’ green and ‘Pillarbox’ red doors. 6mm KerMac compact wall linings in ‘Warm White’ complement the partitions and brighten the bathroom, while delivering the durability necessary for the high-use highschool environment. Applied to all walls, these phenolic resin compact sheets ensure anti-bacterial protection and easy cleaning.
The KerMac partition system is low maintenance in design — proving to be a great choice for schools and other high-traffic facilities. The system features paddle shift locking, adjustable pedestals, bolt through security fixings, spring loaded hinges and cast polished hardware. The range of colours available in the 13mm Laminex and KerMac compact laminate range allows clients to create a vibrant design when planning their bathroom.
In addition, the bathroom features a custom-made 7.3m long vanity in Blacked Linwood compact. This required under bench basins fitted in factory, transported to site and followed by four access panels to vanity fronts for servicing plumbing. The mirror wall was then fitted with 13mm Oyster grey compact laminate.
"With school bathrooms and toilet blocks in general being unforgiving environments, our partition system is a perfect fit", notes Kerry McAuliffe, Managing Director, KerMac. "It provides the necessary features such as impact and graffiti resistance, with long term low maintenance requirements, all while keeping a tight budget in mind."
