Callum, of Auckland building company Citibuild Services Ltd, has been using Jenkin A-lign for the first time. It was specified by the architect for a house Citibuild is building in pricey Devonport, the seaside suburb on Auckland’s North Shore known for its beautiful heritage timber villas.

Callum and his team have done a lot of work with timber weatherboards, but this was their first experience with a comprehensive timber weatherboard cladding system.

“Once we figured it out, it was just brilliant. Long, straight, clean lengths with the finger-jointed, treated and double primed weatherboards, pre-cut scribers, and accessories, the finish is excellent".

Having used Jenkin A-lign once, Callum says he will always use it where he can going forward.

“We get set in our ways and don’t try new things, but this is just so easy, it’s a lot quicker to get the job done and I still get a craftsman finish.
