Dulux Colour Awards Finalist: Coatesville Country House

Peta Tearle of Peta Tearle Design and Colour Studio

The 1450 m² residence - which sits on 2ha of grounds - is inspired by golfer Greg Norman's Florida mansion and has been constructed for potential purchasers.

Peta Tearle's brief was to create an interior that had "WOW" factor, transforming it from a large and impressive house to a classically timeless home. Designed to appeal to discerning buyers who demand excellence, the objective was to create a formal, glamorous and stylish atmosphere, while at the same time ensuring that the space felt warm, inviting and comfortable.

The classic, pared back paint palette employed by Peta provides visual continuity throughout the property. Timeless and elegant, the neutral scheme also serves as a blank canvas on which its buyer can stamp their own personal mark.
