Wraptite-SA has been installed to the recent new development at Edition Apartment in Parnell. The self-adhering Wraptite-SA enabled the contractors to easily install the membrane onto the wall. The self-adhesive qualities meant that savings were made by eliminating the need to tape all the joints. Wraptite-SA airtight membrane prevents lateral air movement enhancing the building's thermal performance. It also provides high vapour permeability in a continuously sealed, self-adhered, airtight membrane.
Wraptite is a low-resistance exceptionally high vapour permeable air barrier, which is durable, flexible and lightweight, allowing for easy installation.
Wraptite's hydrophobic outer layer repels liquid water, while the airtight core stops movement of warm/cold air vapour permeable structure releases moisture from building envelope. Patented vapour permeable adhesive ensures minimised air leakage through a building's fabric ensuring that “as built” performance comes as close as possible to the design performance targets. This ensures good indoor air quality and reduces the likelihood of mould, mildew, condensation, timber distortion and metal corrosion.
ProctorPassive Wraptite UV-SA is available for open joint claddings.
