Scope of Use

Suitable for use in all wind and earthquake zones in New Zealand and the South Pacific.

Limitations on Use

StopDigging require a proposed panel layout or table design, and the wind speed and snow load requirements of the proposed site location.  Once exact panel sizes are provided, a specific rack design can be provided to suit these parameters. The rack design includes pile design loads, for which StopDigging provide static pile testing to verify what size of groundscrews are required to achieve the load bearing requirements. A fixed price quotation is then provided for the project.

The racking system includes all components needed to mount and clamp the PV panels including earth clips and lugs.

Statement of Building Code Compliance

Stop Digging hereby declares the materials used for the SGSR-R2V solar racks are comprised from:

  • Aluminium components are made from Aluminium alloy 6005 with T5 tempering (Al6005-T5 / AA6005- T5)
  • Steel components (clamp and fastening bolts/nuts) are made from A2-70 Stainless steel
  • All products are produced according to EN 1090. Product design matches UL 2703. Wind loads are calculated according to AS/NZ 1170.2
