Description

Easys for Refrigerators is Hettich's electromechanical opening solution for built-in refrigerators and freezers. It neatly incorporates refrigerators into handleless kitchen design, has user friendly intelligent function and has a slim-line profile of only 22mm high.

The electromechanical opening assistance Easys is so powerful that it easily overcomes the holding force of a refrigerator's magnetic stay closed function. As a result, the fridge door and carcase door unit is reliably opened in response to a gentle push.

Refrigerators fitted with Easys only open when they are really supposed to and can be closed by hand in the usual way. The perfected control system reliably prevents any unintentional opening. This means there is no need for any power assisted closure which is good news for fingers.

Scope of Use

For use in kitchens and all interiors where cabinetry requires push to open functionality and handleless design
Suitable for appliances with door on door slider, as well as for doors fixed in place to the unit front on left and right opening
The slim-line design allows retrofitting into existing cabinets and can be trimmed from 600mm down to 462mm
Suitable for installing in a refrigerator surround (500 - 600mm wide) with chipboard screws and comes as a kit including function unit, spacers, screws and drilling templates

Limitations on Use

Dry, indoor use only
Not suitable for operation in the open or in places where exposure to water or heavy soiling is to be expected
Temperature range of between 5°C and 40°C
Requires standard household power
