Domusa Dual Clima HT Air-to-Water Heat Pump for High-temperature Applications
Description

The Domusa Dual Clima HT Air-to-Water Heat Pump is an advanced, high-performance solution designed for high-temperature applications. Capable of achieving a flow temperature up to 75°C, making it suitable for heating systems that require higher temperatures, such as radiators in existing homes or for new builds.

Key Features
  • Natural Refrigerant (R290): Uses R290, a natural, non-toxic refrigerant with an extremely low Global Warming Potential (GWP) of 3. This contributes to an eco-friendlier operation and reduces environmental impact.
  • Compact and Efficient: The heat pump has a True Monobloc design, meaning all the components, including the PRV, AAV, expansion vessel, and pressure gauge, are factory-fitted. This simplifies installation and reduces space requirements.
  • Single-phase Inverter Compressor: Features a variable-speed compressor for greater efficiency and adaptive performance. The system adjusts its output to match demand, increasing both energy efficiency and comfort.
  • Low Refrigerant Charge: A smaller charge of refrigerant means improved safety and environmental benefits, contributing to its low carbon footprint.
  • Wide Operating Range: It can operate effectively even in colder climates with an outdoor temperature as low as -20°C.
  • High Coefficient of Performance (COP): The pump delivers a COP of 4.69 for the 16kW model and 4.47 for the 12kW model, meaning it delivers more heating energy compared to the electrical energy it consumes, maximising efficiency.
Scope of Use

Central Heating New Zealand's highly skilled engineers offer a free design service where they calculate the heat demand for each room in the home. Taking into consideration crucial factors such as insulation, airtightness, ceiling height, window sizes, and incidental heating to determine ideal radiator sizes to ensure even, radiant heating throughout.

  • Residential and commercial heating where higher flow temperatures are required.
  • Residential — radiators are suitable for single or multi storey stand-alone dwellings
  • Ideal for replacing older systems that use conventional fossil fuels or less efficient heat pumps.
  • Strategic placement of radiators throughout the home guarantees uniform, even heating effectively eliminating any cold spots and ensuring a cosy environment in every room
  • Designed to withstand all climate zones —can efficiently operate even in extreme conditions with a minimum outdoor air temperature of -20°C
  • Radiators provide a highly responsive and flexible heating option, ideal for both new constructions and existing homes. They quickly heat up and cool down, perfectly suited to New Zealand's ever-changing weather patterns
  • Can be integrated with solar power systems
  • Can be integrated into DHW (Domestic Hot Water) production for year-round comfort
