Description

Dulux AcraTex Acrashield Aluminium is a protective top coat with a pale, glossy finish that shifts and changes with the sun throughout the day. A long-lasting and innovative alternative to composite aluminium cladding.

Flexible to project needs it is designed for long-term durability and colour consistency. Special interlocked pigment technology means AcraShield Aluminium provides reduced moisture permeability, improved resistance to degradation by UV light, and greater colour consistency over large areas.

Scope of Use

Dulux AcraTex AcraShield Aluminium can be applied as a protective topcoat over Dulux AcraTex texture coatings, and is compatible with a wide variety of substrates including masonry and concrete.

Provides reduced moisture permeability, improved resistance to degradation by UV light, and greater colour consistency over large areas.

Limitations on Use

To ensure colour uniformity and for optimum performance, Dulux recommend a full coating system including a membrane top coat
For all systems the texture and/or base coat should be tinted in accordance with AcraTex Tint Guide to the specified top coat colour (or a colour as close as possible to the specified colour as product and tint rules allow)
Important: Not all colours are suitable for exterior use
